Macquarie Point Multipurpose Stadium – Site Preparation Works Bulk Excavation and Civil Contractor Tender
​
Interested parties are advised of the upcoming Request for Tender (RFT) for the bulk excavation and transport of materials from the Macquarie Point site to nominated disposal facilities.
This RFT will be issued in November 2025, by the Macquarie Point Development Corporation.
Respondents must be:
-
Pre-qualified under the National Prequalification System for Civil Construction Contracts for Department of State Growth at a minimum financial level of $5 million.

Certified against AS/NSZ ISO 9001, AS/NSZ ISO 14001, and AS/NSZ 4801 or ISO 45001.
-
Certified to Federal Safety requirements.

Registered as a Controlled Waste Transporter with EPA Tasmania

Macquarie Point Multipurpose Stadium - EOI and Process 
​
Entities that may be interested in participating in the procurement for the design and construction of the Macquarie Point Multipurpose Stadium, should note that to be eligible to participate in the process as the lead contractor they will have to satisfy the following mandatory preconditions to participation.
​
Respondents must be:
-
prequalified under the Department of Treasury and Finance Prequalification Scheme (Contractors), in the category Building Works - Institutional and to the financial limit of $50 million (which is the maximum financial limit applicable in the scheme) and
-
accredited under the WHS Accreditation Scheme established under the Federal Safety Commissioner Act 2022 (Cth) and specified in the Federal Safety Commissioner (Accreditation Scheme) Rules 2023.

Macquarie Point – Goods Shed Relocation Contractor - Tender

Interested parties are advised of the upcoming Request for Tender (RFT) for the design, dismantling, storage, and rebuild of the Goods Shed and removal of the Red Shed.
This RFT will be issued in November 2025, by the Macquarie Point Development Corporation.
Respondents must be:

Pre-qualified under the Department of Treasury and Finance Prequalification Scheme (Contractors) and Department of Treasury and Finance Prequalification Scheme (Consultants ) at a minimum financial level of $10 million.

Certified against AS/NSZ ISO 9001, AS/NSZ ISO 14001, and AS/NSZ 4801 or ISO 45001.

Certified to Federal Safety requirements.
