Macquarie Point Development Corporation is calling for tenders to begin stage one of construction at the Mac Point site.
The works will include the construction of a road located adjacent to the Cenotaph as well as the provision of infrastructure services such as water, sewerage, electricity, NBN and natural gas connectivity.
The tender will also include work to construct the stairlink - one of two key access points which connects the Mac Point site to the Centotaph.
Macquarie Point Development Corporation CEO, Mary Massina said prequalified civil construction firms are encouraged to apply.
“We invite prequalified local and interstate firms to apply for these significant works.
“This is an exciting time for Mac Point with works once complete, to facilitate the subdivision of land which will prepare the site for permanent development.”
Tender applications will close early in the new-year with the construction of the road, infrastructure and stairlink to follow.
